Jawan Director Atlee Says Shah Rukh Khan ‘Inspired’ Him To Produce More Bollywood Films

Filmmaker Atlee, who is now enjoying the success of his most recent production, Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, is getting ready to start production on VD18, a big-budget comedy starring Varun Dhawan. The movie is one of five that the director is producing.

Bawaal, a recent release on Prime Video and directed by Nitest Tiwari, stars Varun Dhawan. Alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu, he has completed Citadel, his upcoming spy action thriller. The directors of The Family Man, Raj and DK, are in charge of the TV show.

Atlee’s Jawan is rapidly approaching the Rs 500 billion mark in India. Jawan has made Rs 735.02 crore worldwide, according to the production company Red Chillies Entertainment, and given the rate at which the sum is increasing, it is anticipated to join the Rs 1000 crore club within the next week.
