Day 2 estimates of Shah Rukh Khan's starrer Jawan
The Hindi adaptation of Atlee Kumar’s and Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt, and others, made a record-breaking Rs 65 crore nett on its opening day in India. The dubbed versions contributed an additional Rs 9 crore nett, bringing the day-one India total to Rs 74 crore. The movie did exceptionally well on its second day, a working Friday, earning between Rs 45 and Rs 47 crore net.
The amount is greater than what KGF 2 achieved on its second day, a holiday on Good Friday. The dubbed versions performed well as well, bringing in about Rs 5.50 crore. The two-day total for Hindi is Rs 111 crore, and the two-day total for all languages in India is somewhere around Rs 125.50 crore.
On Saturday, Jawan will approach day 1 levels, and on Sunday, it may perhaps surpass them. After four days, Jawan’s Indian gross for the Hindi version may reach about Rs 235 crores, and if the dubbed versions are included, it may reach about Rs 260 crores. These are unheard-of figures that have never before been attained by a Hindi film.
