Satish Kaushik’s sudden death has left his family and friends heartbroken. On March 9, while the actor was in Delhi celebrating Holi, a sudden cardiac arrest resulted in his death. Many celebrities from Bollywood came together for his final rites in Mumbai, and some shared their grief on social media.
Anupam Kher, the late actor’s best friend, is among those who have been deeply affected by his passing. We saw a film of him separating at his last rituals, and today he took to his Instagram handle to share an emotional note for his late friend.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Anupam Kher shared a video in which he is seen praying and presenting flowers in front of a picture of his late friend Satish Kaushik.
Actor in Hindi, “जा!!! तुझे माफ़ किया! मुझे अकेला छोड़ कर जाने के लिए!! I will surely find you in people’s laughter! But I will miss our friendship on a day-to-day basis! अलविदा मेरे दोस्त! तेरा फ़ेवरिट गाना लगाया है बैकग्राउंडमें! तू भी क्या याद करेगा!!”

Many fans reacted to the video with some emotional comments. Among them, one wrote: “Feel like I’m watching Uunchai movie characters in real life… Dosti . Another wrote, “You both are a true example of friendship.”
Anupam was also seen with Satish’s wife, Shashi Kaushik, and holding daughter Vanika’s hand at the prayer meet. Interacting with reporters, Anupam said, “I think we should give the man a dignified exit and not make these speculations, because he lived a dignified life. He needs a dignified exit. All these rumours should end today with this puja.”
Other than Anupam Kher, Vidya Balan, Vivek Agnihotri, Gulshan Grover, Boney Kapoor, and Javed Akhtar also attended the prayer meeting.
