Reports state that the makers have halted the shoot of the Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, leaving fans restless.
There is certain speculation on the pause.
After ‘Hera Pheri 2’, is ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ in trouble?
Reports indicate that the makers have cancelled several shooting schedules multiple times over the past six months.
Additionally, earlier reports claimed that they abruptly scrapped two to three schedules, leaving the ensemble cast uncertain about the film’s status.
As per the Pinkvilla report, “The actors have been allotting dates for the shoot of Welcome To The Jungle to producer Firoz Nadiadwala, and the same stands cancelled at the last minute due to logistical and financial issues.”
The report further added that unexpected cancellations of the shoot have caused the actors to remain idle during those scheduled days, leading to confusion and chaos.
However, a close source to the production revealed the actual reason, stating, “The team has already completed 70% of the shoot for Welcome To The Jungle. They had planned to film the remaining 30% in Kashmir, but the unfortunate Pahalgam attack forced them to postpone the schedule.”
Furthermore, the insider revealed that the team had fully prepared the grand final schedule, stating, “They had locked the entire schedule, which included helicopters, over 250 horses with horsemen, and 1200 junior artists.”
The Akshay Kumar-starrer includes Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Disha Patani, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, and more. Overall, the expectations are quite high for the project.
Meanwhile, the source reassured that the project is firmly back on track, stating, “Everything is on track. All 34 actors are excited and set to commence the last marathon schedule and will begin post-rains in a different location.”
