Karan Johar
In a lengthy post on punctuality, filmmaker Karan Johar criticised “time offenders” who arrive late for meetings. Karan posted a picture early on Monday to Instagram with the word “punctuality” written on a black background. The filmmaker said that being on time is “simple basic manners,” but he didn’t name anyone.
The post was captioned by Karan as follows: “So… the wonderful thing about punctuality is that it doesn’t require a natural talent, a degree, or even the approval of a parent or employer… It’s not an art form that we inherit through generations… It’s simple, basic manners… respecting other people’s time and therefore respecting them as well.” Karan added: Unadulterated pure regard…
He likewise added, “Arriving up 15 minutes late without a mumble of a conciliatory sentiment or an overcompensating cheerful look smells of privilege and protectiveness… Informing ‘on my way”… Doesn’t make you any less liable either. I’m on my way, so You are intended to be… You ain’t helping me, honey! And the message you sent me without any specifics is as ambiguous as a Nolan movie.”
“Then it gets worse!” Oh no! I forgot! Why not, Mr. President? Being in charge of a nation that keeps you so busy Then there’s the standard one: “Too much traffic.” Are you a resident of New Zealand? But this is India… Baby, check the state of the population! We have a lot of people here. So what should you do? LEAVE EARLY! The absolute worst situation is when they do not show up and do not even send an apology message! This last faction of guilty parties must be struck off your rundown perpetually… Karan concluded.
