What was it that you put yourself through, and why did you decide to do that? “I’ve never said this, so I’m going to say it because you’ll make me feel safe,” Actress Priyanka Chopra on Bollywood said,
She revealed the following when discussing the circumstances surrounding her move to Hollywood: I was being forced into a corner in the Bollywood industry. I was unhappy that people were not casting me, I disagreed with people, and I’m not good at playing politics, so I decided I needed a break.
The actress said that during this time, Priyanka Chopra’s manager, Anjula Acharia of Desi Hits, saw her in a video and got in touch with her. Priyanka Chopra was filming for Vishal Bharadwaj’s Saat Khoon Maaf. Anjali inquired about Priyanka Chopra’s interest in pursuing a music career in the United States, stating that she had heard the actress’s demo. The actress claimed that she was looking for alternatives outside of Bollywood when she received the offer.
