Hridhu Haroon’s Musical Entertainer ‘Texas Tiger’ Wraps Up Shooting

The makers of director Selvah Kumar Thirumaran’s upcoming film ‘Texas Tiger’, featuring actor Hridhu Haroon in the lead role, have announced the completion of the film’s shooting.

The film has generated considerable buzz since the release of its title teaser, which introduced audiences to the controversial and charismatic character of Texas Tiger.

The teaser opens with women’s groups protesting and demanding that Texas Tiger’s songs be removed from the internet, alleging that their lyrics contain objectionable content.

At the same venue, a group of enthusiastic fans calling themselves ‘Tigerians’ gather to support the musician.

As police attempt to disperse the crowd, Texas Tiger makes a dramatic appearance, climbs atop a police vehicle, and voluntarily wears a garland of slippers that activists intended to place on him as a mark of protest. His unexpected reaction leaves the protesters surprised.

Sources close to the production had earlier indicated that the film would be a fun-filled musical entertainer that aims to appeal to a wide range of audiences.

Sujith, Balaji Kumar, Parthi Kumar and Selvah Kumar Thirumaran are producing ‘Texas Tiger’ under the banner of UK Squad Productions.

Selvah Kumar Thirumaran has penned the story and also directs the film.

The filmmaker previously earned appreciation for his directorial venture ‘Family Padam’, which received positive feedback for its blend of humour and emotion.

Apart from Hridhu Haroon, the film stars Samyuktha Viswanathan as the female lead.

Veteran actress Rohini and Bigg Boss fame Sachana also play pivotal roles in the film.
