Honey Singh and Shah Rukh Khan
Honey Singh and his tunes are very well known among his fans. His songs have been loved by people of all ages and have gone on to become chartbusters. In his film Chennai Express, which also starred Deepika Padukone, he worked with Shah Rukh Khan on a song called Lungi Dance. This song, which was a huge hit, is still on most of our playlists. All things considered, as of late, in a meeting with ETimes, Honey Singh uncovered that he no longer appreciated making music for Bollywood movies because it had a Shah Rukh Khan association.
Honey Singh revealed that composing music for Bollywood has always been difficult for him. Honey Singh said, “When Shah Rukh bhai called me to make a song for Chennai Express, he told me to make something like ‘Angreji Beat.” When I inquired about why, he responded that the song was a huge hit. I let him know that I wouldn’t make a tune like that but would make a number that had his energy. He didn’t like Lungi Dance, which I made. It took him three weeks to decide whether or not to buy the song.
