In a momentous event scheduled for January 22, the highly anticipated inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be officiated by the esteemed Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The ceremony, set to draw the presence of renowned personalities and dignitaries, has already gained widespread recognition on both a national and global scale. In a remarkable gesture, the creators of the recently premiered film, Hanuman, inspired by a segment of the Ramayana, have declared their intention to contribute a substantial sum of Rs. 2.66 crores.
This generous donation is derived from the proceeds of over 50,000 tickets sold for the film, marking a thoughtful way for the filmmakers to give back to society. The announcement was conveyed via a post on X (formerly Twitter) on January 21, where the team shared their commitment to donate the impressive amount of ?2,66,41,055, reflecting the total tickets sold thus far for Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
Directed by Prasanth Varma, HanuMan boasts a stellar cast featuring Teja Sajja in the lead role, supported by Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Raj Deepak Shetty, and Vinay Rai in pivotal roles. The film’s cinematography is skillfully handled by Dasaradhi Sivendra, while Sai Babu Talari serves as the editor. The musical composition is a collaborative effort by Anudeep Dev, GowraHari, and Krishna Saurabh. Produced under the banner of Primeshow Entertainment, the film premiered on January 12 in Telugu and includes dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
