Farhan Akhtar revealed that his daughter Shakhya Akhtar and son Akira Akhtar share his and his father Javed Akhtar’s love of music. According to him, his daughters want to pursue careers in music.
The actor Farhan Akhtar discussed his two kids’ future aspirations, Shakhya and Akira. The two are still in school and haven’t decided if they want to get into Bollywood.
Comes from a family with a rich musical heritage, disclosed that both of his daughters are drawn to pursuing careers in music.
“You’ve come a long way, @akiraakhtar. Keep going. The world is your oyster”, Farhan said with a video of his daughter earlier this year on Instagram. Akira sang the popular song Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing by Tori Kelly in the film, impressing vocalist Shibani Dandekar, the wife of Farhan Akhtar.
When asked how he connects with his two daughters through music, Farhan Akhtar replied, “Unfortunately, I don’t have a video of the elder one, but both of them are tremendously into music. The elder is currently training herself how to play the guitar. She participates in a singing group in the UK, where she is now pursuing her studies.
Akira wore a black sweatshirt and a checked miniskirt in the video. She wore her wavy hair loosely. Akira appeared onstage with her band. She effortlessly and confidently sang. One of Farhan’s fans responded to the video by writing, “Saw her on stage once with you @faroutakhtar during a performance, and now she’s doing her performance – already a (star and flame emojis).” Another fan commented, “Extremely talented young man. God be with her.” Another fan wrote, “The Akhtar family never ceases to produce brilliant minds.”

The elder woman is currently training herself how to play the guitar. While studying in the UK, she is a member of this singing organization.
