The makers of the upcoming Hindi film ‘Ek Din’, starring Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan, released its official trailer on Wednesday. The preview presents a touching narrative revolving around a mystical fortune bell believed to grant a heartfelt wish for true love when it is rung.
In the trailer, Junaid Khan’s character describes the legend associated with the bell. While sharing the story, he looks at Meera, played by Sai Pallavi, and silently wishes that she could become part of his life.
He expresses a simple yet powerful hope that his wish might come true, even if it lasts for just a single day.
The trailer suggests a warm and emotional romance between the two central characters. Junaid appears as a shy and slightly awkward young man whose innocence and sincerity shape his character.
On the other hand, Sai Pallavi portrays Meera as poised, confident and emotionally strong. Their contrasting personalities create a dynamic that feels natural and engaging, making their relationship both relatable and appealing.
The trailer’s emotional tone is strengthened by the soulful voice of Arijit Singh. His vocals add depth to the scenes and complement the romantic atmosphere of the story.
The film seems to embrace a timeless style of storytelling that reflects the classic romantic dramas once popular in Bollywood. Its narrative carries a nostalgic charm, emphasising emotions, sincerity and heartfelt connections.
‘Ek Din’ also marks the reunion of Aamir Khan and filmmaker Mansoor Khan after many years.
The pair previously collaborated on several memorable Hindi films such as Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Akele Hum Akele Tum, and Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na.
Their return to the romance genre has generated excitement among audiences. Many fans are eager to see their creative partnership come together once again on the big screen.
The film is produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and directed by Sunil Pandey. It is jointly produced by Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan and Aparna Purohit.
‘Ek Din’ is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on May 1, 2026.
