Excitement surrounding Dhanush’s upcoming project, dubbed D50, reached new heights when the actor unveiled the first look poster of his next film on Monday. Titled “Raayan,” the poster showcases Dhanush in a compelling portrayal, further revealing that he will take on the roles of writer and director for the project.
In the striking first look, Dhanush is depicted standing before what appears to be a food truck, locking eyes with the camera, sporting a shaved head and a moustache. Clad in a blood-stained shirt and an apron, he grips a steel implement with intensity. Sharing the poster across English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages, Dhanush captioned it: “RAAYAN #D50 @sunpictures @arrahman.”
Sun Pictures, the production house, also shared the posters, confirming that #D50 is indeed titled “Raayan,” with Dhanush at the helm as writer and director, and featuring music by AR Rahman. The film is slated for release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages.
