Suniel Shetty: It’s a proud moment for father Suniel Shetty as his darling daughter, Athiya Shetty is all set to get married to cricketer KL Rahul. The date apparently has been set for 21st – 23rd January 2023 as told to Pinkvilla by a source close to the family.
With just a little over a month left for the wedding all preparations are underway for the grand day.
Apparently, a grand South Indian style wedding is being planned. The wedding venue will probably be Suniel Shetty’s bungalow. All functions like Hladi, Sangeet, wedding ceremony and reception are on the cards.
Suniel Shetty had confirmed earlier this year to the paparazzi about the wedding saying ‘Jaldi Hogi’.
Athiya and KL Rahul have been a serious couple for years now. They are now taking their relationship to the next level after having moved in together.
Actor Athiya Shetty and Cricketer KL Rahul used to often post pictures of each other online. Athiya would also give the Cricketer company on his international cricket tours. Though it was only earlier this year at the premiere of Athya’s brother Ahan Shetty’s debut film Tadap’s premier that they were seen publicly posing together for the cameras.
Athiya Shetty debuted in Bollywood in 2015 with the film Hero opposite Aditya Pancholi’s son, Sooraj Pancholi. She hasn’t created much of a buzz with her acting career. Her relationship with cricketer KL Rahul has been the source of all the attention she has garnered.
She won an International Indian Film Academy Awards for Hottest Pair with Sooraj Pancholi. She was also nominated for Filmfare award for the Best Female Debut category. Post that the actor has only been seen in two films i.e. Mubarakan in 2017 and Motichoor Chaknachoor in 2019.
With the wedding news Athiya may not be seen in Bollywood or like some actresses her luck might turn with the tying of the nuptial knot.
