Unbeatable and mega star Amitabh Bachchan turns 81 on Wednesday. Born in Allahabad now Prayagraj on 11 October 1942, his father , Harivansh Rai Bachchan used to live in a street of Muthiganj was a well-known poet and writer of the country. Mother Teji Bachchan was a social worker. Harivansh Rai Bachchan was also a lecturer in English at Allahabad University.
Amitabh alongwith his brother Ajitabh started their education in one of the best College of Prayagraj Boys High School and has a deep connection with Prayagraj .He boy from the banks of Ganga played and roamed in these streets and from here he touched the sky of progress.Apart from being good in studies, Amitabh also participated actively in cultural programs.
His father Harivansh Rai Bachchan was one of the major poets of the post-Chhayavad period of Hindi poetry. Listening to his father’s famous work Madhushala in the magical voice of Amitabh gives a different experience. The ancestors of Harivansh Rai Bachchan had come to Prayagraj from Babupatti village of Raniganj Tehsil of Pratapgarh district. Whereas Teji Bachchan was from a Punjabi Khatri family.
Some of Amitabh’s distant relatives live in some part of his house. Mr Nagar the owner of the oldest pen shop situated in Civil lines recalls that while studying in Boys High School, Amitabh used to occasionally come to the shop to buy pens and notebooks.
Ruling the hearts of audiences of all ages, Amitabh Bachchan has entertained many generations. Even today, he is the favorite actor of children, youth and elders. His never-tiring spirit and energy inspire everyone.
His film career began in 1969 as a voice narrator in Mrinal Sen’s film Bhuvan Shome. In the 70s, he reached heights in the acting world with films like Anand, Zanjeer, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, Deewaar and Sholay and never looked back. In his long film career, Amitabh has acted in films like Amar Akbar Anthony, Don, Trishul, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Suhaag, Dostana, Kalia, Laawaris, Naseeb, Namak Halal, Coolie, Sharabi, Mard, Namak Haraam, Abhiman, Majboor, Mili, Chupke Chupke, He did many films like Kabhi Kabhie, Kala Patthar, Shaan, Silsila, Shakti, Shahenshah, Agneepath, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Baghban, Black, Bunty Aur Babli, Sarkar, Cheeni Kam, Paa and Piku.
He influenced the audiences of every era and made a special place in their hearts. With this special place, Amitabh is still maintaining his trend of excellent acting and the world remains crazy about him. The big thing is that not only on the big screen but also on the small screen television, through programs like Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC ), Amitabh has ensured his special place in every house of the country and is maintaining his rule over the hearts of crores of viewers.
