‘Biwi Paglu’? Amitabh Bachchan Learns A New Gen Z Term On KBC

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan discovered a new Gen Z expression, ‘Biwi Paglu’, during the filming of the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC).

The light-hearted exchange featured in a newly released promotional video ahead of the show’s premiere on August 10.

The veteran actor appeared amused after noticing that a contestant had listed his occupation as ‘Biwi Paglu’.

Amitabh Bachchan found the unusual occupation amusing. He joked that he first thought the contestant worked in the Labour Ministry before realising ‘Biwi Paglu’ was listed as his profession.

The contestant responded with a smile, saying that every husband ultimately works for his wife. His witty reply triggered laughter on the set and prompted another humorous response from the veteran host.

Joining the banter, Amitabh Bachchan quipped that the wife is the real boss of the household. He added that every husband should accept this reality, jokingly advising, “Live like this, and you’ll survive; otherwise, you’ll be fired.”

Amitabh Bachchan’s remark drew applause and added to the cheerful atmosphere of the show.

The upcoming 18th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will premiere on August 10, with Amitabh Bachchan returning as host once again.
