Amitabh Bachchan Got Injured On Project K Set, Might Take Weeks To Recover!

Amitabh Bachchan, the Bollywood superstar, was injured while filming his upcoming film, Project K, in Hyderabad. On his blog, the actor gave his take on his health. He also stated that he is currently resting at home in Mumbai. Big B was injured during the film’s action sequence. He had a muscle tear in his right rib cage, which was unfortunate.

In his blog, the actor also stated that the film’s production had to be canceled because he will need weeks to recover from his injury. Amitabh Bachchan also had a CT scan at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad before returning home. Doctors have advised him to rest for the time being.

Amitabh Bachchan: Project K Postponed, Rib Cartilage Popped and Broke

According to his blog, Amitabh Bachchan mentioned, “In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured .. rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage .. canceled shoot .. did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home .. strapping has been done and rest been advocated .. yes painful .. on movement and breathing .. will take some weeks they say before some normalization will occur .. some medication is on also for pain (sic).”

He also added, “So all work that was to be done has been suspended and canceled dropped postponed for the moment until healing occurs. I rest at Jalsa and am mobile a bit for all the essential activities .. but yes rest and generally lie around. It shall be difficult or let me say. I shall be unable to meet, the well-wishers at Jalsa Gate this evening .. so do not come .. and do inform as much as you can to those that intend to come. All else is well (sic).”

PROJECT K DETAILS

Project K is a fantasy drama in which Prabhas takes on a new persona. Deepika Padukone stars as the lead in the C Ashwini Dutt-produced film, which marks her first collaboration with the Baabubali star. Amitabh Bachchan, a Bollywood legend, has a major role in the film. Project K is set to hit theatres in 2024. Ashwini Dutt previously stated that the film is “about the modern-day avatar of Vishnu.” It is said to be set in a futuristic world.
