During the last Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 episode, Amitabh Bachchan was crying. The legendary actor and host of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) shed tears as he wrapped up the season in a promotional video. Amitabh was probably alluding to the conclusion of the current season, which many mistakenly believed to be his exit from the show, which is why the video made a lot of his admirers cry. On Saturday night, X was all over him.

In the video, Amitabh Bachchan looks dapper in a maroon tuxedo. He said, “Devi aur sajjano, ab hum jaa rahe aur kal se yeh manch ab nahi sajega. Apno se yeh keh pana ki kal se hum yahan nahi aa payenge, na kehne ki himmat hoti aur na kehne ka mann hota hai (Ladies and gentleman, now it’s time to go as the stage won’t be the same. It’s difficult to let everyone know that we won’t be returning here from tomorrow).”

Reacting to the video, many thought it was Amitabh’s final goodbye from KBC. A fan wrote in the comment section, “Amit Sir is (an) example of sheer dedication and passion at such an age.”

“I will miss KBC… and Amitabh Bachchan sir… will be waiting for next season,” added another one. Someone also commented, “It’s the end of an era! Wishing you good health and happiness sir.” The clip from the show went viral on social media as many began trending Amitabh on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Saturday night.

Sheela Devi and Avinash Bharti were on the most recent episode. In the finals, Sara Ali Khan, Sharmila Tagore, and Vidya Balan were also seen. Vidya posted a video of Amitabh discussing Jaya Bachchan, but later on, Sharmila disclosed that Jaya had given her the moniker Rinku Di. Sara, on the other hand, relished her early years on KBC and even shared one of her trademark knock-knock jokes.

In conversation with Uttar Pradesh competitor Avinash Bharti, Amitabh reminisced about his time in college, recalling specific experiences from dorm room number 27. Amitabh finished his BSc at Kirori Mal College, Delhi University, where Avinash studied.
