Avatar 2 Continues To Dominate The Box Office, ‘Circus’ Is Not Getting Viewers

Box Office Report:  Along with the beginning of 2023, the audience was eagerly waiting for new films in theatres. But in the first week itself, no new big film hit the theatres. In such a situation, only the films released in the past weeks remained in theatres. In these films, where (Avatar 2) ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ is rocking the box office, ‘Drishyam 2’ is still standing. On the other hand, the condition of ‘Circus’ is bad from the opening day itself.

Avatar: The Way of Water (Avatar 2)

James Cameron’s film ‘Avatar: The Way of Water'(Avatar2) has been performing brilliantly at the box office since its release. Along with abroad, the film is earning well in India as well. According to the initial figures that came on Sunday, the film has earned Rs 7.50 crore on the 24th day. In such a situation, the collection of the film so far has gone up to Rs 371.50 crore.

 

Drishyam 2

Ajay Devgan starrer film is rocking the box office since its opening day. The seventh week of the release of the film is going on and it still rests in theatres. At the same time, there has been a decline in the film’s earnings on Sunday. On the 52nd day, Drishyam 2 has done a business of Rs 75 lakhs. In such a situation, the film’s earnings have now gone up to Rs 238.46 crore.

Circus directed by Rohit Shetty

Directed by Rohit Shetty, ‘Circus’ has seen many stars including Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandes, Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma. But even after being a multi starrer, the film is not able to make a good collection. ‘Circus’, which started slow on the opening day itself, has been completely rejected by the fans. At the same time, according to the initial figures, it has been able to collect about 37 crores so far.

Marathi film Wade

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza’s Marathi film ‘Wade’ is getting good response from the audience. Ritesh made his debut as a director with this film. There has been a tremendous jump in the film’s earnings on Sunday. On Saturday, the film earned Rs 4.53 crore, while on Sunday it managed to collect Rs 6 crore. In such a situation, the total earning of the film has become 33.52 crores.
