Arshad Warsi Opens Up About His Creative Bond With Rajkumar Hirani

Arshad Warsi has shared insights into his professional relationship with director Rajkumar Hirani, highlighting the trust that has developed between them over the years.

The actor explained that Hirani’s belief in his capabilities has allowed him to take on a wide variety of characters, helping him explore new dimensions of acting with each project.

Reflecting on their collaborations, Warsi said he feels fortunate to have worked with the celebrated filmmaker on several occasions.

According to the actor, Hirani consistently assigns him varied and engaging roles, making every collaboration creatively fulfilling. He added that he eagerly looks forward to future opportunities to work with the director.

Warsi will next be seen in ‘Pritam and Pedro’, a quirky comedy series that marks Rajkumar Hirani’s entry into the digital entertainment space.

The project also features Vir Hirani, who is making his acting debut.

Joining them in the cast are Vikrant Massey, Boman Irani, and Mona Singh.

The series has been helmed by filmmaker Avinash Arun, while Hirani has created and produced the show.

JioHotstar will begin streaming the much-anticipated programme from 3 July.

Discussing the series, Warsi described it as a project with special significance in his career. He acknowledged Hirani’s contribution to both launching and revitalising his journey in the film industry, noting that the filmmaker has been instrumental at important stages of his professional life.

The actor also spoke about sharing the screen with Vir Hirani, describing the experience as memorable, given how long he has known him.

Commenting on his role, Warsi said Pedro is an unusual and fascinating character whose personality stands apart from anyone he has met before, adding that audiences will discover his uniqueness when the series premieres.
