Arbaaz Khan, speaking on behalf of the Salim Khan family, has addressed the recent shooting incident outside their residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Contrary to media reports suggesting the family’s unaffected stance, Arbaaz described the incident as “disturbing and unnerving.”
In his statement, Arbaaz clarified that no member of the family has labeled the incident as a publicity stunt or indicated any sense of calm. He emphasized that such assertions by individuals claiming to represent the family should not be taken seriously.
Arbaaz reaffirmed the family’s cooperation with law enforcement, stating their commitment to assisting the police in their investigation. Expressing faith in the Mumbai Police, he thanked everyone for their support during this challenging time.
The incident, occurring on a Sunday morning, involved two unidentified individuals opening fire outside the Khan residence. The assailants, masked under helmets, arrived on a motorcycle, suggesting a meticulously planned attack.
As the investigation progresses, the case has been transferred to the Mumbai Crime Branch, signifying a crucial phase in unravelling the details surrounding the attack. Multiple teams are actively involved in the investigation to shed light on the motives behind the brazen assault.
The incident has prompted heightened tension and scrutiny, with both the public and authorities eagerly awaiting further updates on the investigation’s progress.
Following the news of the shooting, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde personally contacted Salman Khan to discuss the matter. Additionally, Shinde conferred with the Mumbai Police Commissioner, recommending heightened security measures for Salman Khan’s safety.
Clarification Amid Media Reports
Several media outlets reported alleged statements attributed to Salim Khan, suggesting the incident was a publicity stunt and portraying the family as unaffected. However, Arbaaz Khan’s statement contradicts these claims, underscoring the family’s genuine concern and active cooperation with authorities.
