Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli joyfully welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Akaay, on February 15, as announced by Anushka on Instagram. Alongside a heartwarming message, the couple requested privacy and blessings during this special time. Their announcement garnered immense love and well-wishes, with comments pouring in from celebrities like Ranveer Singh and Shweta Bachchan.

Speculation about Anushka’s delivery in London arose when industrialist Harsh Goenka cryptically hinted at a forthcoming birth, sparking rumors. However, the couple chose to keep details private until the official announcement.

Reports of Anushka’s second pregnancy initially surfaced in October 2023, with AB De Villiers later confirming the news on his YouTube channel in January 2024, though he later retracted his statement.

Anushka and Virat, who tied the knot in December 2017, welcomed their first child, Vamika, in January 2021. Anushka took a hiatus from acting after the release of “Zero” in 2018, focusing on family. While she completed filming for the sports drama “Chakda Xpress,” its release date remains undisclosed.
