Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has found himself at the center of a minor social media blunder.
The esteemed actor recently posted a video on Instagram showcasing a memorable clip from his film career.
The post featured a juxtaposition of a classic scene from his movie alongside a recent video of Bachchan energetically running towards the camera.
He intended the post to show that his passion for cinema remains undiminished despite his age, as he continues to actively engage in his work.
However, eagle-eyed fans quickly identified that the clip intended to represent Agneepath was actually from Akayla.
The discrepancy did not go unnoticed, and several fans pointed out the error in the comments.
Acknowledging the mistake, Big B promptly corrected himself in an Instagram Story.
He wrote, “Apologies…that picture I posted of running saying from Agneepath..wrong! It’s from AKAYLA thank you well wishers.”
Agneepath, released in 1990, is one of Amitabh Bachchan’s most celebrated films.
It chronicles the story of a man who seeks revenge against those who wronged his family, leading him into the dangerous world of Mumbai’s underbelly.
Despite initial challenges with voice recording, the film remains iconic and was later remade with Hrithik Roshan in the lead role.
The original Agneepath also featured a stellar cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Rishi Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Kanika Tiwari, Om Puri, and Zarina Wahab.
It also had a memorable appearance by Katrina Kaif in the hit track Chikni Chameli.
