Amitabh Bachchan buys 10,000 sq. ft. land in Ayodhya
Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan has acquired a 10,000 square foot plot in an Ayodhya project being constructed by the Mumbai-based real estate company House of Abhinandan Lodha for approximately Rs 14.5 crore, according to sources on Monday.
The agreement was confirmed by the House of Abhinandan Lodha, but no financial information was disclosed. The sources claim that the approximately 10,000 square foot site in “The Sarayu” project was sold for Rs 14.5 crore.
“I am looking forward to embark on this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart… I am looking forward to building my home in the global spiritual capital,” Bachchan said.
Bachchan’s involvement in the Ayodhya project, according to a statement from Abhinandan Lodha, Chairman of The House of Abhinandan Lodha, shows the actor’s great appreciation for the city’s spiritual legacy as well as his trust in the city’s economic potential.
