On the auspicious occasion of Mahalaya, which marks the start of Durga Puja, Ajay Devgn posted a shoutout to a Bengali movie on his Instagram. On October 19, the movie Dawshom Awbotaar, starring Bengali icon Prosenjit Chatterjee, will get a theatrical release. Shubho Mahalaya!, Devgn wrote. The movie is directed by Srijit Mukherjee and stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, Jisshuu Sengupta, and Java Ahsan.
The last time we saw Devgn was in the action-thriller movie Bholaa, which he also produced and directed. The movie ended up being a box office hit despite earning negative reviews. He recently revealed that Rohit Shetty’s third Singham film, Singham Again, which is set in the world of law enforcement, is already in production. In addition to Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar making brief cameos, Ajay will be reprising his role as Bajirao Singham in the movie.
