Uttar Pradesh Man Arrested For “Digital Rape” Of A 6-Year-Old Girl
After the girl’s mother complained that her next-door neighbor had engaged in “digital rape” with her daughter, a FIR was filed against the accused.
On Monday, October 31, 2022, an official in the Ghaziabad neighborhood of Kanawani reported that a man had been detained for raping a six-year-old neighbor.
After receiving a complaint from the girl’s mother alleging “digital rape” (forced sex using a finger or fingers other than the male genital) with her daughter on Saturday night, October 29, 2022, a FIR was filed against the accused Ajay alias Ram Naresh.
Ajay was booked under section 376AB (sexual assault on a girl below 12 years of age) of the Indian Penal Code and Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Act.
According to the report, the girl was with her elder sister and brother in their house while their mother had gone out for work. Ajay, who is their neighbor, came there at night and committed the heinous act.
When the woman came home on Sunday morning 30th October, 2022, the children hugged her tight and started weeping. On asking what has happened her elder daughter narrated the incident to her, she told how everything kept happening.
Ajay the neighbor was arrested on the intervening night of October 30 and 31 while he was trying to flee to his native village in Kannauj district, police said
This wasn’t the first time a digital rape took place with a minor in Uttar Pradesh, prior to this there have been many cases booked under section 376AB some of them are from Salarpur were this happened with a 3.5 year old And Noida were this happened with a four year girl regions of Uttar Pradesh.
Crimes such as these are ruining the life of the Minors and Toddlers leaving them with a scar and a deadly shock to bear for the rest of their life.
