Bollywood actor Richa Chadha is facing the wrath of netizens on social media for her ‘Galwan’ tweet in which she reacted to the Northern Army Commander Lt General Upendra Dwivedi’s statement that the Indian Army is ready to execute orders like taking back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

The netizens are trolling the actor for ‘mocking’ the Indian Army and belittling the sacrifice of the Jawans in the 2020 Galwan clash between India and China. This wasn’t the first time the actor was caught in a controversy, she has often posted controversial political statement but that to an extent was accepted but her this tweet was anti-national.

The controversy took a political turn as the BJP leaders claimed that Richa Chadha is close with the Congress. Calling Richa Chadha a worshipper of the Congress and Rahul Gandhi, and a third-grade Bollywood actor, Manjinder Singh Sirsa demanded legal action against her.

“Disgraceful tweet. Should be withdrawn at the earliest. Insulting our armed forces is not justified,” BJP’s Manjinder Singh Sirsa tweeted slamming the actor.

An Apology is also tweeted by the celebrity soon after their began a huge controversial battle stating that how it can’t never be her intention to hurt the feelings of the people and how not even in her worst dreams she will try to mock or insult the Army.

She furthermore also told how her Nanaji (Maternal Grandfather) was LT. Col and his sacrifice in the Indo-China war 1960; also how her Mamaji (Maternal Uncle) was a Paratrooper and how she personally knows what it feels like lose a Son in The Line of Duty on the border.

Also Shiv Sena spokesperson (Uddhav faction) Anand Dubey demanded Maharashtra CM Ekanth Shinde and Home Minister Amit Shah to take stringent actions against ‘anti-national’ tweet of the actor.
