Men In Blue for White Ball Cricket to have Dhoni soon

Ex Indian Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is being eyed by the BCCI Eyeing Major Role to bring the Team India’s T20I brilliance back.

As per the reports, MS Dhoni is said to opt for retiring post IPL 2023. The Board of Control for Cricket in India is heard aspiring to kickstart India’s T20I revamp through changing the support staff too.

Though Team India’s semifinal birth in a global contest like T20 world cup may be termed as a fairly good performance, still the way the men in Blue were knocked out with a ten-wicket thrashing from England, can not easily be forgivable. Along with this the last nine years ICC trophy drought expects a major shakeup in the team as well as in the coaching set-up.

Reports are buzzing with the name of MS Dhoni, the two-time world cup winning captain, who might end up playing a significant role in the T20I revolution of India.

If the media reports are to be believed, the BCCI is pondering over utilizing the former India captain’s acumen and expertise. Dhoni could be asked to start working with the Indian T20I squad simultaneously with the current head coach Rahul Dravid.

Expected to retire after IPL 2023, Dhoni might join Team India’s backroom staff. Though there are calls for different coaches for white-ball and red-ball teams, even then the Dhoni arrival might prove fruitful.
