Youth4Jobs, Adani GreenXTalks Announce GAPC 2026 Photography Contest

NotJustArt, a venture of Youth4Jobs, in collaboration with Adani GreenXTalks, has unveiled the fifth edition of the Global Ability Photography Challenge (GAPC) 2026. The initiative is recognised as India’s largest photography competition dedicated exclusively to persons with disabilities and is open to participants across the world.

Over the years, the challenge has evolved into a widely recognised global platform. It has reached millions of people, attracted tens of thousands of participants, and received entries from more than 30 countries.

Previous exhibitions have also been showcased internationally, including in Japan and Dubai.

The competition invites photographers with disabilities, both amateur and professional, to present work that reflects their lived experiences and creative vision. The initiative seeks to amplify diverse narratives and promote broader representation in the arts.

Meera Shenoy highlighted that the platform enables individuals with disabilities to demonstrate leadership through creativity and resilience. She noted that many past winners have gone on to achieve significant milestones.

Jeet Adani said the partnership aims to celebrate global talent. He added that it will bring participants together through the universal medium of photography.

The competition offers substantial rewards, with cash prizes for top winners and recognition for outstanding entries.

The top 20 photographs will feature in a curated exhibition, while leading participants will receive specially designed trophies by renowned designer Michael Foley.

The awards ceremony and exhibition will likely take place in Ahmedabad on 24 June 2026.

Selected winners will receive support for travel and accommodation. Their work will also feature across media platforms and international campaigns.

NotJustArt focuses on nurturing artistic talent among persons with disabilities.

As part of Youth4Jobs, it works to build skills and create livelihood opportunities. It also promotes inclusion through initiatives that integrate technology and innovation.

Through initiatives like GAPC, NotJustArt continues to expand its global footprint. It also advocates for greater inclusion of disability-led art in mainstream and corporate spaces.
