Stock Market closed: Nifty, Sensex declined and Nifty Bank closed with 1% gain

Stock Market closed: Sensex and Nifty closed down for the 7th consecutive day. Nifty Bank closed with gains. Nifty climbed 73 points to close at 17,393, Sensex fell 176 points to close at 59,288. Nifty Bank closed at 40,307, up 398 points. Of the 50 Nifty stocks, 33 closed in the red and 17 in the green. Out of 12 shares of Nifty Bank, 10 closed in green and 2 in red mark. Buying in 13 stocks of Sensex while selling in 17. Buying was seen in realty, banking stocks. Metal, IT, and auto stocks closed with a fall. Pressure was seen in Pharma, FMCG, Infra stocks. There was pressure in midcap, and smallcap stocks. Adani Group’s shares continue to decline. Adani Green, Adani Total Gas and Adani Enterprises have lost 5 percent. However, light buying is visible in Adani Ports.
