Stock market closed: Market closes strongly, Nifty rises 1.57%, Adani Group, PSU Bank, Metal shares rise

Stock market closed: On the last trading day of the week, the market closed with a strong boom. The biggest intra-day gain has come after 11 November 2022. Nifty closed up 272 points at 17,594, Nifty Bank up 861 points at 41251 and Sensex closed up 899 points at 59,809. Of the 50 Nifty stocks, 42 closed in the green and 7 in the red. Out of 12 shares of Nifty Bank, 11 closed in green and 1 in red mark. There was buying in 25 shares of Sensex, while there was selling in 5 shares. Buying was seen in all BSE indices today. Energy, Infra, FMCG stocks saw a boom. Strong growth was seen in metal, banking stocks today. All the sectors closed in green mark in today’s business. BSE’s mid and smallcap index closed with a gain of 0.5 per cent.
