Stock market live: Indian markets opened with slight strength today. Nifty opened up 39 points at 17,809, Nifty Bank up 51 points at 41,334 and Sensex opened up 216 points at 60,647. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 25 stocks are trading in green and 25 in red mark. Out of 12 stocks of Nifty Bank, 9 are trading in red and 3 in green.
US markets closed higher on Monday
Today the inflation figures will come in America, before that the markets here have closed with a boom. The Dow Jones closed 377 points higher at 34,246, the Nasdaq gained 174 points to 11,892 and the S&P500 was up 47 points to 4,137 as tech stocks returned.
