Stock Market Live: Market closed with a fall amid volatility, PSU Bank index down 1.9%

Stock market live: On the second day of the trading week, the market started with a slight increase. Volatile business was seen in the market today. Recovery from the lower level was seen in Nifty Bank. Nifty closed down 18 points at 17,827, Nifty Bank closed down 28 points at 40,674. The Sensex fell 19 points to close at 60,673. In Nifty’s 50 shares, 30 shares closed in red and 20 in the green mark. Nifty Bank out of 12 shares, 8 shares closed in red and 4 in the green mark. Buying in 13 stocks of Sensex while selling in 17. Energy, PSE, and Infra indices closed with slight gains. Selling was seen in realty IT stocks. Pressure was seen on Pharma, Metal, and Auto stocks. There was a decline in shares related to public sector banks. Midcap, Smallcap indices closed with losses.
