Industrialist and entrepreneur Vishnu Aggarwal recently met with the country’s Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, upon his arrival in Ranchi on Thursday. Babulal Marandi, the State BJP President, was also present during the meeting. Aggarwal took the opportunity to highlight the abundant mineral wealth of Jharkhand during his conversation with the Finance Minister.
Beyond coal, Jharkhand boasts substantial reserves of various minerals, including iron ore. Aggarwal proposed to the Finance Minister that fostering industries based on these minerals in both Jharkhand and West Bengal could significantly contribute to the development of the states and the nation as a whole. Such initiatives would not only stimulate economic growth but also generate employment opportunities for the local populace.
In essence, Aggarwal’s discussions with the Finance Minister underscored the potential for leveraging the mineral wealth of Jharkhand and neighboring regions to drive industrial development and socio-economic progress.
