Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani Welcome Marco Rubio And Sergio Gor To Reliance’s Jamnagar Refinery

Reliance Industries Limited Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani and Executive Director Anant Ambani welcomed US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor to Jamnagar, Gujarat, home to the world’s largest refinery.

The visitors toured Reliance’s refinery complex to examine its scale, advanced technology and integrated operations.

The delegation received an overview of the company’s New Energy gigafactories, which are being commissioned in phases, and its data centres under construction.

The visit highlighted Reliance’s investments in energy and digital infrastructure, alongside its capabilities in advanced manufacturing and deep technology.

Mukesh Ambani and Anant Ambani outlined their long-term vision for developing the Jamnagar complex into a centre for deep technology, innovation and advanced manufacturing.

The discussions, however, covered the global energy landscape and opportunities for commercial partnerships across conventional and new energy sectors.

Participants exchanged views on reliable and affordable energy supplies, technological advancements, resilient supply chains and investments needed to meet rising demand. They explored the growing relationship between energy and digital infrastructure, particularly the importance of dependable power supplies for data centres and the expanding digital economy.

The Reliance leadership shared perspectives on potential collaboration with US companies, drawing on complementary strengths in technology, engineering and advanced manufacturing.

The interaction, however, provided an opportunity to exchange industry insights and explore areas of mutual commercial interest across energy, digital infrastructure and emerging technologies.

Reliance expressed gratitude to Secretary Rubio and Ambassador Gor for their visit, highlighting the engagement as an opportunity to discuss shared interests and potential avenues for business cooperation between India and the United States.
