MediaTek, a leading semiconductor company, announced its integration into the Arm Total Design ecosystem, a collaborative effort aimed at accelerating the development of products based on Arm Neoverse Compute Subsystems (CSS).
This partnership marks a significant step towards enhancing the performance and efficiency of AI applications across various sectors, including data centers, telecommunications, and infrastructure systems.

MediaTek’s entry into this ecosystem signifies a strategic move to leverage its expertise in hybrid computing, artificial intelligence (AI), SerDes, chiplets, and advanced packaging technologies.
“We will be working closely with Arm as we expand our footprint into data centers, utilizing our expertise to accelerate AI innovation from the edge to the cloud,” stated Vince Hu, Corporate Vice President at MediaTek.

MediaTek plans to utilize the Neoverse CSS framework to design optimized System-on-Chips (SoCs) tailored to specific application needs, effectively addressing the complex computing demands of AI technologies.
Meanwhile, this integration will boost MediaTek’s ability to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient solutions. It will further solidify its position in the semiconductor industry.
