The Karnataka State-Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) has approved 128 projects totaling Rs 6,407.82 crores, with the potential to create jobs for 33,771 people across the state.

“The proposals were cleared on Friday by the committee headed by Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development Minister M B Patil”, the statement reads.

The minister, who presided over the meeting at the Karnataka Udyog Mitra (KUM) office, stated that the 128 projects would ensure equal investment throughout the state’s diverse regions.

The clearance committee approved 22 projects with an investment value of over Rs 50 crores.

Once implemented, the 22 projects will generate a total investment of Rs 4,230.64 crore, with the potential to create 24,846 employment.

As many as 104 new projects, with capital ranging from Rs 15 crore to Rs 50 crore were also approved with a projected investment of Rs 2,056.68 crore and the potential to create 8,425 jobs.
