JioCinema May Allegedly Become a Paid Subscription Service: Here Are The Details

JioCinema is among the widely used streaming services in the nation. Online reports indicate that JioCinema may start charging a subscription fee soon. Three membership plans are listed on a test website that has been discovered online.

A Reddit user posted purported screenshots of the website. It states that the business will provide Gold, Daily, and Platinum subscription options. According to the screenshots, JioCinema subscribers will have access to “all content, on any device, in the highest quality, on all JioCinema Premium plans.”

The Daily Delight: The plan will reportedly cost  ₹ 29 and be a one-day plan. Users of the Daily Delight package are able to stream simultaneously on two separate devices.

The Gold Standard: The plan will probably cost  ₹299, have a three-month validity, and support two devices. It might be sold for just 99 dollars at first.

Platinum Power: The top-tier JioCinema plan will be called Platinum Power. It costs ₹ 599 and comes with advantages including 365 days of ad-free streaming. Up to four devices may be supported under the package.

Rohit Sharma, the captain of India’s men’s cricket team, just signed on to serve as the brand ambassador for the OTT platform, which is owned by Mukesh Ambani’s Viacom18. According to the firm, the cricketer will advance the OTT platform’s goal of making sports viewing synonymous with digital. Sharma will collaborate on the OTT platform’s objective of making sports viewing synonymous with digital through efforts with the team there. The business stated that he will accept its digital-first proposition for all premium sports properties to grow the fan base.
