IndiGo Partners With Adani Airports To Offer BluChip Rewards On Duty-Free Purchases

IndiGo, India’s leading low-cost airline, has entered a strategic collaboration with Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), the nation’s largest private airport operator.

The partnership enables IndiGo BluChip loyalty members to accumulate reward points while purchasing duty-free products at airports managed by AAHL.

Under the arrangement, travellers earn five IndiGo BluChips for every Rs 100 spent on duty-free items booked in advance through Adani’s digital platform.

Passengers can conveniently browse products online, reserve their selections, and complete payment before departure. They may then collect the purchases directly from airport duty-free outlets, ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience.

Neetan Chopra, Chief Digital and Information Officer at IndiGo, emphasised that the airline continues to strengthen the value offered through its loyalty programme. He said the partnership with Adani Duty Free extends BluChip benefits beyond flight bookings, making travel more rewarding.

Suchit Bansal, Chief Executive Officer (Non-Aero) at AAHL, said the company is transforming airport retail. It combines digital discovery, easy pre-ordering, and seamless product collection through the Adani platform.

He added that the partnership unites India’s largest airline with the country’s largest private airport operator to create a connected and rewarding travel retail ecosystem.

Customers must access a dedicated portal, link their IndiGo BluChip membership ID, and complete their purchase. The earned points typically reflect in their accounts within 24 to 48 hours.

Duty-free stores participating in the programme currently operate at airports in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Jaipur, Mangaluru, and Lucknow.

Authorities plan to expand the initiative to Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport and Navi Mumbai International Airport.

Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) manages eight airports across India, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, and Mangaluru. It also operates the Navi Mumbai International Airport, which began commercial operations on December 25, 2025.
