Honda Cars India Cuts Prices By Up To ₹95,500 After GST Reforms 2025

Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) on Tuesday announced that it will pass on the full benefit of the GST Reforms 2025 to its customers. The revised prices will come into effect from 22 September, making popular Honda models cheaper ahead of the festive season.

According to the company, the Honda Amaze 2nd Gen will become cheaper by up to ₹72,800, while the newly launched Amaze 3rd Gen will see a reduction of up to ₹95,500.

The Honda Elevate will get a price cut of up to ₹58,400, and the Honda City will be cheaper by up to ₹57,500. Customers booking now can enjoy both GST-linked reductions and ongoing festive offers, with deliveries under the new prices beginning from Navratri.

“We welcome the Government’s GST Reforms 2025, which come at a very timely juncture for the auto industry. These progressive measures will make vehicles more accessible and boost festive demand,” said Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Limited.

He urged customers to book early to ensure timely delivery and to take advantage of both festive offers and GST savings.

Honda said that variant-wise revised prices will be available at authorised dealerships.

Automakers are also extending festive offers across models, giving customers additional savings.

Broader Impact on Auto Market

From 22 September, GST on small cars, motorcycles up to 350cc, three-wheelers, buses, trucks, and ambulances will cut from 28 per cent to 18 per cent. This decision will likely make budget-friendly vehicles nearly 10 per cent cheaper.

Cars such as the Maruti Suzuki Alto, Hyundai Grand i10, and Tata Tiago will benefit from the tax cut.

Popular two-wheelers, including the Honda Shine, Bajaj Pulsar, Honda Activa, and Hero Splendor, will also see price drops. The move is likely to boost demand in the auto sector during the festive season.
