HMSI Posts 23% Growth In Domestic Sales In November 2025

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) recorded strong sales momentum in November 2025, reporting domestic sales of 5,33,645 units, a 23% jump from 4,32,888 units sold in the same month last year.

Total sales, including exports, rose 25% to 5,91,136 units, compared to 4,72,749 units in November 2024.

Exports also delivered a robust performance, growing 44% year-on-year to 57,491 units, up from 39,861 units in November 2024.

For the April–November period of FY26, HMSI’s cumulative sales reached 42,32,748 units. Of these, 38,12,096 units were sold in the domestic market, while 4,20,652 units were exported.

Continuing its focus on road user education, HMSI conducted safety awareness drives across multiple cities during the month.

The company also marked Children’s Month with activities at its manufacturing plants, Traffic Training Parks, and Safety Driving Education Centres.

Additionally, road safety conventions were held in Coimbatore and Varanasi to promote responsible riding practices.

Honda India Foundation (HIF), the CSR arm of the company, announced several new initiatives aimed at skill development and youth empowerment. In Bengaluru, HIF inaugurated a Kaushal Vikas Kendra dedicated to training persons with disabilities.

The foundation also launched a career progression programme for General Duty Assistants trained under its Project Pragati initiative.

In a further push to support young talent, HIF introduced a sports development programme in collaboration with Manav Rachna Sports Academy, aimed at helping promising athletes from underprivileged backgrounds access training and resources.
