Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat will visit the Adani Vidya Mandir (AVM) in Ahmedabad on Monday, September 29. During his visit, he will meet students and take a tour of the school campus. The Governor will also participate in various programmes organised at the school.
Adani Vidya Mandir, run by the Adani Foundation, is a leading educational initiative aimed at providing free, high-quality education to talented children from economically weaker backgrounds. The school has emerged as a hub of hope and opportunity for students who lack the financial resources to pursue education.
The school operates across multiple states, with campuses in Ahmedabad and Bhadreshwar in Gujarat, Sarguja in Chhattisgarh, and Krishnapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. Approximately 3,000 children currently benefit from AVM’s educational programmes.
Adani Vidya Mandir admits students based on merit, conducting a written test, physical verification, and a short interview session.
The school has consistently delivered excellent results, with recent years recording a 100% pass rate. It is recognised by the National Board of Accreditation and is considered among the top schools in the country.
Adani Vidya Mandir aims to nurture the potential of talented children whose abilities may be constrained by financial hardship. Alongside the four AVM campuses, the Adani Foundation operates several other schools and project schools across India, focusing on holistic, value-based education.
The Governor’s visit underscores the importance of supporting initiatives that combine academic excellence with ethical and cultural values, ensuring that education remains accessible to all.
