Gautam Adani Hails ‘Operation Sindoor’; Emphasises The Price Of Peace At AGM

At the 33rd Annual General Meeting of the Adani Group held in Ahmedabad, Chairman Gautam Adani delivered an emotional and resolute tribute to the Indian Armed Forces, commending their valour during ‘Operation Sindoor’.

The operation, launched last month, targeted terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

In his address to shareholders, Adani asserted, “Our brave men and women in uniform stood tall, not for fame, not for medals, but for duty. Their courage reminded us that peace is never free. It is earned.”

He underlined that the freedom to dream, innovate, and lead rests on the sacrifices of those who defend the nation.

Saluting the forces

Adani highlighted that ‘Operation Sindoor’ symbolised India’s commitment to peace, while also making clear that India would not hesitate to respond to aggression.

“India knows the worth of peace. But if someone shows us an eye, we know how to respond in their language,” he said, drawing applause from stakeholders.

He deeply appreciated the Armed Forces’ silent sacrifices and said their devotion to protecting India’s borders, families, and dignity humbled him.

Revealing the role of Adani Defence in the operation, Adani proudly stated that the company’s drones and anti-drone systems played a pivotal role in the mission.

“Operation Sindoor called, and we delivered. Our drones became the eyes in the skies and the swords of attack,” he remarked.

He further explained that Adani Defence operates not in safe zones but in areas where India needs support the most.

Tribute to Air India crash victims

The AGM also observed a solemn moment of remembrance for the victims of the Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crash in Ahmedabad on 12 June.

The aircraft, en route to London, crashed shortly after takeoff.

“We bow our heads in grief for the lives lost in the tragic crash of Air India flight,” Adani said. “So many dreams were silenced in an instant.”

Adani’s remarks combined national pride with corporate responsibility, reflecting the group’s growing role in India’s strategic sectors.

By aligning business with national interest, especially through defence and infrastructure, the Adani Group continues to project itself as a key contributor to India’s growth and security.

The Chairman’s message concluded with a strong affirmation of the group’s values: courage, commitment, and a duty towards nation-building.
