Adani Group Chairperson Gautam Adani praised para-athlete Noorjahan Jamani for her stellar performance at the National Para Table Tennis Championships 2024–25.
Jamani, associated with Adani Airports, clinched four medals across various events.
Taking to X, Adani Group Chairperson posted, “Just another incredible week at Adani! Big congratulations to Noorjahan Jamani from Adani Airports!”
Noorjahan Jamani secured a Gold at the UTT National Para Table Tennis Championships. She followed it up with another Gold in Women’s Singles – Class 6, a Silver in Mixed Doubles, and a Bronze in Women’s Doubles.
Adani Group Chairperson Gautam Adani called her performance ‘extraordinary’ and a proud moment for the Adani Group.
The post included a photo of Gautam Adani with Noorjahan Jamani proudly displaying her medals.
Representing Ahmedabad Racquet Academy (ARA), she also reached the semi-finals in Women’s Singles – Class 8 at one of the national ranking championship legs.
Held under the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI), the UTT Para Table Tennis National Ranking Championships are among India’s premier para-sports events.
The 2024–25 season drew nearly 260 participants. The first leg was held in Indore (November 26–28, 2024), and the second in Vadodara (March 17–19, 2025).
Gautam Adani also lauded another team member, Kay Mehta from the Business Development team, calling him the company’s ‘Bungee Champion’.
Despite being in a wheelchair, Mehta bungee jumped in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
In an earlier post on X, Adani Group Chairperson Gautam Adani posted, “Most people do it for the thrill. Kay Mehta, our own Adanian, did it to make a statement. From the heights of Rishikesh, strapped in his wheelchair, Kay took a leap that told the world: no odds, no fear, can stop willpower.”
“Kay, you don’t just inspire us – you redefine what it means to be an Adanian. Hum Karke Dikhate Hain,” the post added.
