Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani announced major investment plans for Bihar during his visit to Patna, where he met Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary to discuss infrastructure, energy and development projects in the state.
Sharing details of the meeting on social media, Gautam Adani said the discussions strengthened confidence in Bihar’s economic future and reaffirmed the Adani Group’s commitment to supporting the state’s development through investments, employment generation and social initiatives.
The Adani Group Chairman stated that the group planned to actively participate in large-scale infrastructure and energy projects while contributing to social welfare and economic growth in Bihar.
During the visit, Gautam Adani also announced the launch of the ‘ACE – Adani Centre for Eye Diseases’ in partnership with Akhand Jyoti Hospital and the Adani Foundation.
The initiative aims to provide accessible and affordable eye care services to people in need across Bihar and other parts of the country.
Alongside the healthcare initiative, the group also launched ‘ATOM – Adani Training Centre for Ophthalmic Medicine’, which will train a new generation of eye specialists and women healthcare workers.
Gautam Adani said restoring eyesight was not only a medical service but also a way of restoring confidence, dignity and hope in people’s lives. He said the initiative reflected the group’s commitment to humanitarian service and inclusive healthcare.
During his Bihar visit, Gautam Adani praised the social work of Gayatri Parivar and Akhand Jyoti institutions and announced an investment of over ₹700 crore for healthcare and welfare initiatives.
