The Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) in Hyderabad recently took part in the ‘Make in India for the World’ webinar, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated.
Held on Tuesday, the post-Budget webinar aimed at fortifying India’s manufacturing sector and discussed ways to strengthen the country’s role in global production.
Industry leaders and government officials participated in the event, which the Union Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade organized.
Dr. Narsimhugari Tej Lohit Reddy, the Executive Director of FDDI Hyderabad, spoke about the institute’s pivotal role in introducing global best practices to India’s footwear and design sector.
His address highlighted the growing importance of innovation and technology in improving manufacturing standards and enhancing export quality.
