The civil aviation ministry said on Tuesday that it resolved 6,577 public grievances and generated more than Rs 2.21 crore through scrap disposal and a special campaign that ran from December 2022 to August 2023
The initiative aimed at resolving problems and promoting Swachhata.
The Civil Aviation Ministry will take part in the special campaign from October 2 to October 31.
The ministry stated that 11,283 files were weeded out throughout the campaign period, which lasted from December 2022 until August of this year.
Scrap disposal generated Rs 2,21,07,809 in revenue and freed up 1,09,189 square feet of space, according to a press statement.
From October 2 through October 31, 2022, there was a special campaign focusing on the resolution of pending cases and Swachhat.
Apart from the ministry, the campaign was supported by all affiliated offices, including field offices, autonomous entities, and PSUs.
”During the campaign, a total of 43,224 physical files were reviewed, out of which 32,919 physical files were weeded out, 42,786 square feet of space freed and revenue of Rs 2,65,91,760 generated from scrap disposal”, the press release reads.
