Brijesh Singh has been appointed senior vice president and global artificial intelligence (AI) head for Wipro Enterprise Futuring by IT giant Wipro.
According to the company, Singh has over 30 years of expertise in the field of technology consulting and was formerly a Senior Partner at Deloitte where he was in charge of advancing AI and data-led transformation.
Following Wipro’s $1 billion investment in AI and the introduction of Wipro ai360, Singh was appointed. He will be responsible for driving Wipro’s ai360 strategy, developing capabilities to support and accelerate AI adoption across Wipro’s entire portfolio, and providing clients with AI-first solutions in his capacity as the global head of AI.
According to Wipro, Singh’s appointment highlights the company’s dedication to incorporating responsible AI into every platform, tool, and solution utilised internally and provided to clients. He graduated from BIT Sindri with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering. He will answer to Wipro’s Managing Partner and President of Enterprise Futuring, Nagendra Bandaru.
The business recently unveiled Wipro ai360, an ecosystem for AI-first innovation that builds on Wipro’s ten-year investment in AI with the aim of incorporating AI into every platform, tool, and solution utilised internally and provided to clients.
Along with the release of Wipro ai360, the business declared its intention to invest $1 billion over the following three years in improving AI capabilities. The company had stated that Wipro ai360, supported by this new investment, will assist in enabling a new era of value, productivity, and business potential through the deployment of AI and generative AI.
