Singapore’s CapitaLand Commits to Significant Growth in India
Nissin Foods Holdings Co Ltd, a renowned instant noodle business, announced a reshuffle of its senior leadership on Friday and promoted its Chief Business Officer Sandeep Bakhshi to Managing Director of Indo Nissin Foods, its Indian subsidiary.
According to a statement, Bakhshi succeeds Gautam Sharma, who has been with the Indo Nissin business since 2014.
Hiroyuki Yoshida, Chairman of Indo Nissin, stated, “Bakhshi has been instrumental in growing the Indo Nissin business in the last eight years and we are confident of his ability to lead the company in its next phase of transformational growth”.
Bakhshi has over 25 years of sales experience, having worked with SC Johnson (now Brillon), Mars-Wrigley, Pidilite, AkzoNobel, and Asian Paints.
Nissin Food Products was formed in 1948 in Japan as the developer of instant noodles.
Indo Nissin Foods, a subsidiary of Japan’s Nissin Foods Holdings, was founded in 1991 and has since introduced Top Ramen, Cup Noodles, and Geki Korean Noodles.
