Purchasing things such as gadgets, vehicles, houses, and clothes on EMI (Equated Monthly Income) is a very common concept. However, the idea of purchasing fruits and vegetables on EMI might seem unreal to many. Speaking of, a mango seller in Pune made it happen and created a buzz all over the internet with his innovative idea. Gaurav Sanas introduced a flexible payment option for Alphonso mangoes this season to make them accessible to everyone. Yes, you read it right. Now you can enjoy the mouth-watering Alphonso mangoes without being concerned about the money.

Alphonso mangoes, also referred to as hapus, are renowned around the world for their exceptional flavour and quality. Alphonso is one of the costliest types of mango due to its exquisite taste and great demand. When compared to other varieties. Mangoes of the Alphonso variety are farmed in Devgad and Ratnagiri in Maharashtra’s Konkan area.

The process for buying mangoes on EMI is similar to purchasing electronic gadgets and other items in instalment. You need to use your credit card or debit card to go through the procedure. The purchase amount of your fruit will be converted into EMIs over three, six, or 12 months. Sanas stated that this scheme is applicable only when a person is making a purchase of at least Rs. He further said that he came up with this scheme because people were losing interest in Alphonso as a result of its high price. With this scheme, Sanas intends to rekindle lost interest and bring back customers. While talking about the same, Gaurav Sanas mentioned the price of mangoes at his shop, which ranges between Rs 600 and 1300 per dozen.
