Adani Portfolio on Tuesday announced a record capital expenditure of ₹1,52,967 crore in FY26, marking the highest annual capex by any Indian corporate.
The group’s asset base expanded to ₹7,85,098 crore, reflecting its accelerating investment cycle and continued focus on large-scale infrastructure development.
The portfolio reported a record EBITDA of ₹94,834 crore during the financial year, a 5.6 per cent increase from the previous year.
Core infrastructure businesses contributed 87 per cent of total earnings, underlining the group’s emphasis on long-term infrastructure assets.
Nearly 80 per cent of total investments flowed into key sectors including energy, utilities, transport and logistics.
The company said the scale of capital deployment in FY26 matched the asset base it had built over its first 25 years, highlighting its confidence in India’s infrastructure growth opportunities.
Several major projects became operational during the year. These included 5.1 GW of renewable energy capacity, battery energy storage systems, Navi Mumbai International Airport, the Guwahati Terminal, the Ganga Expressway and a new copper smelter facility.
The group expects these assets to drive future growth and earnings while maintaining a healthy financial position, with net debt-to-EBITDA at 3.3 times.
Equity accounted for 60 per cent of the asset base, while cash reserves stood at ₹55,852 crore.
Adani Enterprises raised ₹24,930 crore through a rights issue, while its airports handled 95.3 million passengers.
Renewable energy capacity expanded to 19.3 GW at Adani Green Energy, with battery storage at Khavda reaching 3.37 GWh.
In the transmission and logistics segments, Adani Energy Solutions crossed one crore smart meter installations, while Adani Ports increased cargo volumes by 11 per cent to 500.8 MMT and acquired Australia’s NQXT terminal.
